Rickshaw Puller Ramu Poem by Gajanan Mishra

One thing Ramu,
Rickshaw puller told me
Sir, what is there in name?
They know not sir
Name is just a word.
And sir, we must take care
The word, not body or power.

I asked, what has happened Ramu?
See sir, Rickshaw puller Ramu said
Again, I don't mind if anyone
Told me puller instead of driver.
Ramu, stayed at Master canteen, Bhubaneswar.
And previously he had a cycle Rickshaw
But thanks God, a second-hand auto-rickshaw
He has bought last year.

Ramu said, leave Rickshaw in its place sir,
Our point of discussion is related to word
And its use. I am confused.
Ramu said,my life is not bad or say hard,
Never horrible also.
Ten years ago sir, when I saw people are
Facing troubles while travelling from
Here and there, so to say from Master canteen to
Vani vihar, to Acharya Vihar, Baramunda,
And I was jobless I thought a plan to help.

I am a graduate sir, and I completed graduation
By pulling or driving Rickshaw through correspondence.
I have read so many books but seldom find use of
Proper words in proper places. Excuse me sir,
I know not who you are. Still let me say
Please use carefully each words. Words are fire.

Where is Ramu at present I know not
Even I failed to remember his face or body properly.
But I remember his words, so true,
I salute you Ramu.I salute you.
Words are not ordinary like our body
But each word has its virtuous value,
And one should use it all for good.
