Revival Poem by Daniel I Brown

Revival

Rating: 5.0

Solidity mortified by disobedience,
Madness in breaking routine,
Day after day in a repetitive play
The stage built by liars and thieves...
And for a moment it comes, and you block out the noise,
Retrieving the back of your mind,
Where your decency's slept in a coffin you kept,
Safely stored from the trappings of time
