Revenge Poem by Ray Hansell

Revenge

We get mad
We get upset
We vow that we
Won't forget

We say just wait
You will see
I'll get you back
For what you did to me

It may not be today
It may not be next week
But I want you to know
That revenge is what I seek

I know it may not be right
I may be acting like a child
But you ain't seen nothing yet
Until you've seem me wild

Make no mistake about it
I will, somehow get even
But you don't have to worry
You will not be left bleeding

Getting revenge I know is wrong
But right now that doesn't matter
You see, what you did to me
Caused my whole world to shatter

You know you told her things
That just weren't true
So I'm letting you know
I will get even with you

So keep your guard on high alert
Always look over your shoulder
You'll never know when I'll strike
It may even happen when you're older
