Retrospect Poem by Sanket Adhikari

Retrospect

Rating: 4.3

Once I had loved you,
Maybe I was wrong
Or maybe I was right!
I don't know, but...
Sometimes a doubt arose in my mind,
Was really you loved by me?
Or it was just my carnality-
I don't know...
Still I can't make out,
Still I don't understand,
Maybe it's better.
I don't know, why...
But there is a crimson flame
Of love
Still burning in my lonely heart.

Sometimes we doubt our reasons to love, you speak from your heart with wisdom and I love the last line of your poem just so beautiful!
