Resurfacing Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Resurfacing

Throughout the day
I go about my business
Steady to the challenge…
images surface in the stillness

Somewhere from the distant past
a replay of a scene a begins…
set in motion by a sensory nerve
hidden deep beneath my skin...

So real, that a moment controls
the present and all else stalls
Bound with ties of platinum strands
as the warmth of love recalls

It's such a nice thought that the memories of our past sometimes make a stillness in the midst of our challenges in the present with a warm caress of love.. excellent write...
