After their opposites merged,
the Restored and the Distinct,
stressing the pride they shared,
married to parry the threat.

The excess pride of the Ds
and the art of the Rs
had driven them further apart
well before the wedding.

The Rs could see
they'd need all of their art
to keep D from RD
shedding.
