In a realm where shadows loom, emotions take their toll,
Drowning in the depths of darkness, an abyss that claims my soul.
A void, vast and insatiable, consumes all that I hold dear,
Echoing emptiness and sorrow, growing with every tear.

The weight upon my weary heart, it feels like endless lead,
An endless chasm of despair, where joy is but a shred.
The waves of anguish crash and surge, dragging me beneath,
Struggling against the current, desperately seeking relief.

In this tempest of despair, I gasp for breath, I plea,
Searching for a sliver of hope to set my spirit free.
But the void, relentless, unyielding, swallows every ray,
Devouring the fragments of light, plunging me astray.

The tendrils of despair constrict, a cold embrace so tight,
And in this desolate realm, I yearn to find the strength to fight.
Yet amid the suffocating darkness, a flicker starts to rise,
A tiny flame within, a will that refuses to demise.

With courage as my lifeboat, I navigate the murky sea,
Battling the tumultuous tides, embracing the will to be.
For deep within these troubled depths, resilience takes its form,
A beacon of strength to guide me through each relentless storm.

Through the swirling maelstrom, I cling onto this newfound might,
Embracing life's inherent struggles, even in the blackest night.
No longer will I succumb to the void's cold, deceitful breath,
For I'll forge a path towards the light, defying imminent death.

So let the darkness rage on, its power I shall defy,
For within me, a fire burns, refuse to let it die.
In this eternal struggle, I will not be easily swayed,
Finding solace in the knowledge that hope will never fade.
