I remember how it was
When she came into our lives
You ran to her like a lost puppy
She was your obsession
You were attached to her
And I wondered...
What happened to me?
We used to be that way, you know
We used to laugh until we cried
We used to do hang out all the time
Where did that go?
And now you’re in my boat
Wondering why she left you
Wondering what happened to you
Wondering where it went
I almost wanted to lash out
And just tell you tough luck
But I love you too much
So I gave it to Jesus
And I told you He loved you
I told you I loved you
I told you it’d all be okay
I hugged you
So who’s here now?
