Like I Need To Breathe
A simple touch is a slow fire
Spreading through my body
Warming every inch of me
Is it wrong to feel this way?
Do you feel like this for her?
A simple smile is a shot of morphine
Spreading a smile across my face
Taking away the pain momentarily
A simple conversation is like breathing
Easy and effortless
Comfortable and safe
When you’re not around
I miss you with all of me
I miss you so much,
You’d think I need you
Like I need to breathe
It’s a pain I don’t mind experiencing
I bear it and keep in mind
My love for you
Is far greater than any pain
I may feel for not having you
