Renascence Poem by Suelynn Walters

Renascence

Gazing out the window she does
Watching the birds fly so free
Her memories of another time
A time way before you and me
Many don't understand her
They say she's indifferent and turn away
But if they knew her as I know her
Perhaps they would see her another way

renascence

You see she is very close to me
And I know what she's going through
A beautiful heart she beholds
One that is honest and true
So throw all your shadows
For what you believe that is or not true
I know it all to well you see
Because there was another time I knew

renascence
