Remnant Poem by Seeyan AbdulGafoor

Remnant

Pain of a million longings
Yearnings that waits priceless
Cravings stumbled on by hearts
Perish! Oh see them perish!
By the surges of sanity
Clawing deep for reasons far bygone
Refuses yet to acknowledge time
Time, that bounds and strangles
The wrath of today to tomorrow
To days to come, no wails to end
Denied, scoffed, the time has went
Only to return, to deny again
