Reminiscence

REMINISCENCE(Poet Henry Ochiagha)

I woke up very early thinking about my past years.
Though awful but very interesting.
I was a bad guy wearing a good man suit.
I did some shady deals but no secret killings.
The drama got clobbered by critics but no remorse.
To us then life is beautiful.
We lived like gods that can not be hurt.
Do whatever i want, whenever i want it.
Sometimes, i fill like going back anti clockwise because i lived above the law.
Lawless is my habit, hubby and second name.
I lived like the day has no ending.
Living without dreams, passion or love which makes a man weak.
Regrets are for the air force, i am a ranger.
Therefore i have no regrets whatsoever for choosing the speed lane.
Although, still chastise in the dream by the spirit of my old life.
Funny when am still me: when men were boys. i had no dreams.
Then why is all these dream about building a carrier, home, love, marriage, healthy living, prayers, advice, evil spirits, marine spirit afflictions, savings, church, gentle man life style, God, Devil, Hell and Heaven coming up now.
May be my hubris got me rolling.
If i had to say two words to my past life, it will be MISTAKES RECTIFY
