Remind Me To Die First Poem by Luke Missi

Remind Me To Die First

Rating: 1.0

Remind me to die first,
Before I lose my zeal and thirst,
Before my journey ends and I depart,
Before I lose my beating heart.

Remind me to leave this world,
With no regrets, no tears, no words,
With memories that shine bright,
And with a soul that sees the light.

Remind me to die first,
When I have no more to thirst,
When I've lived a life that's full,
And have played my part well.

For life is but a fleeting grace,
A journey we must all embrace,
So remind me to leave with grace,
And to leave behind a legacy that's great.

Remind me to die first,
Before my dreams and passions burst,
Before my body grows old and weak,
And my memories become bleak.

So, let me go with no delay,
Before my time fades away,
Remind me to die first,
And to live every moment as if it were the last.
