Remembering September Poem by Jezmine Victoria Mateo

Remembering September

remembering September
when we're in the elevator
the two of us were quiet
wishing to break the silence

when I see you across the room
i often use my peripheral view
Glimpses of you made my day
unable to say hi makes me sigh

on a sunny Saturday morning
i saw you again in the kitchen
receiving those strawberries
delivering them to the Lovers

Standing out in a crowd of faces
you're the one who makes me blush
didn't expect this in the workplace
i just found myself a happy crush

i honEstly can't deny these butterflies
you seem quite shy but oh so kawaii
i'm Absolutely smitten with your eyes
you are one diligent rose-colored guy
