Rememberance Poem by Adrija Dey

Rememberance

Rating: 5.0

When the melting snow turns into spring
And the white swallows heralds the joy
When tulips unfurl tender petals
You will be remembered
The first showers in a summer evening
When dusty leaves turn green
When birds sing the song of new
You will be remembered
When monsoon blues turn to gray
On the flooded roads the children play
When the sun peeps from behind the silver cloud
You will be remembered.
When the yellow leaves of Autumn fall
And the trees lose their embellished green
When the blue sky is dotted with cotton clouds
You will be remembered
When the bleak winter silently creeps
And colours of flowers turn red, yellow and pink
When the warmth dwells between clasped hands
You will be remembered
When the poet writes a new song
And the unfortunate gives poetry a chance
When friends reunite with open arms
You will be remembered
