R-emember your birth
U-nder the sky is great;
D-ay to celebrate is now,
Y-our moment is worth the wait.

F-or all the world to know,
L-et me send you this rhyme;
O-ne ode that brings gladness,
R-unning to you this time.
E-ighteenth morn in July, night cold chill is over;
S-hadows are all gone, drifting into thin air.

A-llow me to greet the dawn,
S-aying happy birthday;
U-rgency of composing
N-ice verse is done my way.
C-ram creation of poem
I-s causing me some mirth;
O-nly when it's finally finished,
N-ow I remember your birth.
