Remember Those You Judge Poem by Francis Duggan

Remember Those You Judge

Remember those you judge who in life are not doing materially well
Like you too do have their own stories to tell
Of how they daydream of a better life every day
And hope that the lady of luck will come smiling their way
Financially successful they may well not be
But they are better friends of the natural environment would you not agree
Than the multi millionaires who pay workers to cut old growth trees down
For their business projects in every city and town
That they make millions in money seems sad for to say
On trashing the natural environment albeit in a legal way
The people you refer to as losers are not responsible for wildlife numbers on the decrease
And with the natural environment they live in peace
Which is more than can be said for those who make their millions at Mother's Earth's expense
Legal criminals who cause so much environmental offense.
