to remember is to reminisce,
upon the good and bad,
to think about the things
that long ago you had,
it's to remember long lost love
and to regain the truth,
of hurt, pain, and disloyalties
of when you were a youth.
it is never to let go,
or try to disguise,
the sins, and the morbidity
of all your past lies.
to remember is to reminisce
and think about the past,
but to also look toward the future,
for it's approaching fast.
