Remain In Light Poem by Justin Gildow

Remain In Light

The crickets are singing a haunting ballad
While leaves rustle in the win
This is a genesis
This is onward to a revelation

You know
Some just want to blend in the dark
Yet we try to create a spark
But with the appearance of the moon
We've chosen to remain in light

We're all alone tonight
And for that we'll remain in light
But we both know
The night reaps rewards for lovers
And many more to the others
But for it all tonight
We'll remain in light
