True and sincere tribute
To the great son of beloved India
Would only be to follow his teachings
Let peace be the order of the day-
Celebrating Gandhi-Jayanti every year.

How much we still relate to him?
To kiss humanity telling what we are
Our love travelling far and wide across
We are a free and fair democratic land
Where, wise words of great men vibrate.

‘An eye for an eye' leaving globe blind
That's the way, today's world is moving
Violence seems to be the order of the day
So are relevant, the great man's words today.
