Refuse to have to fend for myself because of the fear of you
Refuse to have to be held down from the fear I have of you
Refuse to give in to the doubt in the back of my mind that is your voice
Refuse to let your negativity win
Refuse to let the anger you cause swell inside of me
Refuse to let it control me
Refuse to let you win
Refuse to not recognize anymore that you really are me
