Reflective Solitude Poem by steven luneau

Reflective Solitude

I sat near waters; flowng softly cleansing..soothing it freshened me;
but i didn't know why.
Waters I speak not physical but of a spiritual nature an inner washing
musing upon Gods word spoken.

Thoughts that flow like the on rushing waves of the in coming tide,
as the sun sets with the soft breeze and light spray of water upon the face...so refreshing so relaxing, so easy to forget the troubles of the day, with the salted scent of the ocean and the fine grained sand between the toes...so cool so stimulating.

And you gaze out to the sea as the sun sits ats edge bidding good night...as the breeze softly massages and you give in and the tension collapses into rest as you repose in thought.........

So many things forgotton from busyness and you sit in remorse and tears....regretting your forgetfulness of peace within...and now the time approches for this moment to be finished.....

I arise and slowly drift back to the tensions, not wantind to, but momentarily the dream ends as you return home to present reality.....
as stress stands greeting you...the place where you wrestle......
and with that.....forget to Dream
