Reflections Poem by Marcel Tourdot

Reflections

Looking back on the road that brought me here.
I must admit I have no regrets.
I’ve loved and lost and laughed and cried.
And by God’s grace alone I haven’t died.

Woke up in so many strange places.
And stared into the eyes of so many angry faces.
At times I had to ask myself did that really happen.
Had loved ones die and (along the way) I’ve lost a couple friends.
But every time they counted me out.
I found a way to get back up once again.
It may be madness and filled with pain.
But at least it’s an adventure every day.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Looking back on the road that brought me here. I must admit I have no regrets. I’ve loved and lost and laughed and cried. And by God’s grace alone I haven’t died. Woke up in so many strange places. I especially enjoyed the opening stanza, the next line i said about the same thing in a poem once. My poem 'reflections' is only two lines and no comparison to your poem. I hope the poem is a persona and life is better than this for you.
