Good Morning (Haunted Visions) Poem by Marcel Tourdot

Good Morning (Haunted Visions)

Rating: 3.0

As dreams do fade into the pending (coming) of a brand new day
I find myself with foggy mind and sometimes with a pounding brain
It’s without fail each morning that your vision visits me
And even when you’re miles away your face I always see.

Like an alarm I cannot stop (or cast away) , it rings until I wake
And rises up without a warning and without fail now every day
Its lack of sleep you heap on me, along with growing deep unrest.
I’ve got no answer and know no questions why its you I see
And how to make these dreams subside Is anybody’s guess

The first few times it was so (very) pleasant
And also so very unexpected
But after weeks did turn to months
Your voice and face I can’t turn off

So hate me please and leave me alone
Or love me baby and please come home
Either way The end result is fine whatever you decide.
My weary mind can’t take this torture I need the madness to subside.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

So hate me please and leave me alone Or love me baby and please come home Either way The end result is fine whatever you decide. I liked the first two of these lines, but please forgive me do, the next does not ring true, the difference is massive, and it is not the way to win an old flame back to you. A rewrite might decidedly change the point of view?
