Reflection On The Wall Poem by Fernando Zaldivar

Reflection On The Wall

Rating: 5.0

You see your reflection in the mirror,
I see mine on the wall.
If the pain gets nearer
I wanna get away from it all.
The nails you see,
Symbolizes my struggle,
And the holes that came to be
Appeared sly, like illegal smuggle.
I stare at my face in the wall...
Is that a tear? ...
I'm stunned, I stand in aww.
How does this wall weep?
It's impossible! ,
Then I think real deep...
Maybe it's possible.
As I stand apalled, I remembered,
That this is my reflection on the wall.
