Redemption Poem by Arthur Hummler

Redemption

Rating: 3.0

The worse you look the better off I feel
Only because my love is real
Guys out there like to beg and steal
Not my lady no deal
At your perceived worse is where I live
To not be at your best I'll always forgive
It's why I feel it's the real thing
Not looking at this as a fling
You know I can't sing
So my heart and soul is all I can bring
Until I save up for the ring
Look as bad as you can
So no other man
Can ruin my perfect plan
To sweep you away
On our wedding day
