Red Panda - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Red Panda - Lincoln Park Zoo

A pair of Red Panda are we,
Ms. Porrin and Mr. Tamei.
At the Lion House you may see
Us at Lincoln Park Zoo each day.
We are mammal, but not a cat,
And not a bear or a raccoon.
Quite quiet - we might whistle at
Each other in a howdy tune.
China mountains are where do roam
The past and present of us wild.
But for us two, the Zoo is home.
The keepers keep bamboo stockpiled.

We hope you'll come visit us please.
We like to hang out in the trees.
