Reclaiming Land From Sea
For reclaiming land man made sea to shrink
No need he then felt it's impact to think.
It was an encroachment on natures domain
Onslaught on its authority was really in vain.
Reclaiming episode is for land at prime locations
To fulfill the greed of handful tycoons & politicians,
Who rule over the state or the entire nation
Through deceit, , money power & manipulations.
Razing hillocks, hills and even parts of mountains
Has become sinister hobby for their material gains
It too contributed in destabilizing seasons
Adversely affecting crops & production of grains.

Your second stanza puts the blame where it belongs: on the consciences of greedy men who abuse their power. The last stanza shows why this blame must be asserted loudly until humanity stops the destruction. There is a real problem in writing a poem like this. If the destruction continues, you may feel your poem was useless, you may despair. Do not surrender to despair. Your poem is being read and your voice is being heard.
How true and how sad, nature is running out of options. Well presented and a lovely read. Thanks for sharing
