Recast Fast Poem by Dorothy Kardas, Psy.D. Th.D.

Recast Fast

Rating: 5.0

Enough of chronic fix
when dishing out
intentions mixed

No more poisoning trust
in vital ties
probity is always a must

Evil tongues ruin relations
too knotty to set right
wiping out joy's might

Catastrophe
of unchecked passions
envious rivalry
vicious suspicions
deforming facts
crucial omissions

Rash mind
to suit crooked thoughts
invents beasts
on imaginary
faults of others
impenitently feasts

Ill at ease
with truth's sound
ties with lies
sorely mound
when cry for truth
is passed on
reality is gone

Break with the nasty past
cannot get you back
you keep tying my hand and foot
erecting a new and dense wall
another cause for the fall
loathing to see untarnished truth
cannot get you back
beseeching Truth
to drive you on the right
felicitous
winning track!
