Rearview Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Rearview

Woman
You don't have to cry
Let's leave it all in the rearview of today's tomorrow
Let your hand melt in mine as we discover God in ourselves
Let's leave it all in the rearview
The time's you were stressed
The times your night's went sleepless
Let's leave it all in the rearview
Let God's word clam the fear we're afraid to release from our heart
Times change, you don't have to cry
Let's vocalise the way we feel as we learn to breathe again
Words we once forgot existed in our youths as we grew to not recogize the faces we now
see each day in the mirror
formatted to see ourselves as the projected images we see on televison
Let's leave it all in the rearview of today's tomorrow
Let your hand melt in mine as we discover God in ourselves
Let's leave it all in the rearview
Let's learn to breathe again
