Real Hell Poem by Moto Wamwanga

Real Hell

What they always say
To the third world on their redios
Is how each and every of their citizen
Is as rich as Bill Gate and as intelligent,
Wise as Socrates; how justice is impartial
And how human rights are really respected.
This's what they usually say.

What they every single day
Show on their televisions is how their countries
Are similar to the real Paradise or God's Heaven
Where unjustice, killings, racism; crimes and many
More human being's savegeries don't exist any
Longer, how their countries are so wondrous, rich.
This is exactly what they show every day.

In contrast, these are fiction and slogan.
These are slogan and conspiracies they propagate
With lies for people to have a mind to glorify them
Like gods so whatever they say can be quickly done
And they can maintain their supremacy of bombing,
Slaughtering other nations by plundering the third
World's wealth to build weapons and their countries.
These are only fiction and slogan.

They are evil and full of fatal plan,
The plan of eliminating any nation that tries to emerge
And not obeying their rules, policies, terms and conditions.
They really forget that power and development of nations
Come with times and no one can remain powerfull forever.
Where is Ancient Egypt? Where is Roman Empire? Where
Is British Empire as well? When your turn to hold the gun
Comes you should be really carefull, as you might pay back
Whatever you have done to others when somebody else's
Turn comes. Things are changing, people are waking up
Even though, they are evil and full of fatal plan.

The reality is what we witness
Every day in american, british, french, canadian and
All western countries' cities. Do you know what occured
In Ferguson, Missouri in Two thousand and fourteen where
Michael Brown, unarmed, innocuous young Black boy got
Severely shot several times by a White police officer,
Darren Wilson who walked proudly free from Court with
Plauses and congratulations for having slayed an animal?
Do you remember Eric Garner's death? Do you know how
Amadou Diallo, Tamir Rice and many more Black citizens
Were killed in American cities? Flash back your memories
And see London in August 2011 when Mark Duggan got
Killed by a police officer whose action was decriminalised.
The reality is what we witness.

The reality is hidden by their press
In order for other people not to see. Every day people get
Stabbed. Every moment people get raped, kidnapped.
People usually get lost like things. We are living where,
Oh God, there is not love, affection, solidarity. We are
Where morality has never been considered and known.
Abortion is something they adore, divorce what they
Solemnly encourage and adultere legally authorised.
The reality is hidden by their press.

Many people like abandoned children in Kinshasa,
Day and night roam streets, sleep in front of train stations,
Shopping centres, public ediffices and they are known as
Homeless despite huge, massive and beautiful buildings
They always show in their movies, videos and tv programmes.
They're homeless like abandoned children in Kinshasa.

Just like in Kigali, Khartoum, Mombassa...
Every word, despite what they sing about freedom of
Speech and human rights, regarding what authorities do or say, must
Be sweet on their interests unless you want to be prosecuted.
Does anybody know Edward Snowden? Do you know what he
Did to be called whistleblower? They kill, destroy and abuse
Just like in Kigali, Khartoum, Mombassa...

Is this Paradise or real hell?
Do not let yoursel fooled by computerised images and films
They always propagate about themselves. You need to know
That not everything that glints in the sun is a diamond, not
Everything that dives and swim is a fish. Be wise and analyzers.
A man is a man and will always and everywhere remain a man.
Is this Paradise or real hell?

You could, wherever you are, live well
When you fight hard and go beyond your strenghth. There is not
A place on this earth where money can be picked up like fruits on
The ground or dead leaves in autumn. Life has been an endless
Battle for each and everyone since capitalism took over and since
Then nothing has ever been free. Every hand that gives aims in
Return an interest, whether an enshrinement or an exploitation.
You could, wherever you are, live well.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem tries to explain to the whole world not to get blinded by what people show or say about themselves. No one is perfect and not where on earth is Paradise. Stick on your principles if they'd lead you where you want to be.
