Reading Off Paper

Belinda said,
'He's aging
and the crisis
mayn't yet be critical,
so we'll tolerate him
reading off paper.'

'He turned from teller to buttons.
Now he's checking himself out in shops, '
countered Irene.
'Let's lead him to digital books
and reading in binary like a machine.'
