I thank the One above;
For this rare opportunity,
To teach me about the love
And mercies that are bestowed on me.

Each time we go for outreach
Deep within I learn something new
Forever to remember and to teach
The gratefulness that is due.

To see the children smile in our presence
Tis' the greatest joy I ever had
Their situation teaches us a lesson
Which is always to feel glad.


There is an important role that we can play
In their lives, to show them the way
To turn darkness to light like night to day
To show that they are special in every way.

Put back on them their gleaming smiles
And you will see the purpose of life
To remove their burdens and their strife,
‘Reach out to the unreached child'.
