Razor And A Picture Poem by Newo Enec

Razor And A Picture

I opened up to someone last night
(Someone other than you)
I opened up my heart last night
(Speaking the words that aren't true)
I spilled my guts to someone last night
(Someone you'll never know who)
I spilled my blood alone last night
(With a razor and a picture of you)

I love this poem. I hope you don't mind. I did a re-write. I'm still not quite satisfied with it. I tried to resolve your repetition and created one of my own, and I have a line I want to add, but I don't want to change the length. This is a brilliant concept. Great piece. Thanks for sharing.
