Rare Brotherhood Poem by Lexie Mulkey

Rare Brotherhood

Kindness won't make you sweet
A spoon full of sugar won't make it better
You're still sower
You're still bitter
You're still stubborn.

I show you the way of kindness
Of sweetness
Of joy
You won't except it but then again its not my place to tell you how to feel

I thought admitting my wrong to yo would make you softer
And we wouldn't but-heads much longer.
Yet, you still argue
Your still as stubborn as an old mule.
You believe your right and I am wrong
No point in trying
This man is who you are.

You have so many spells so many different sides.
I don't know who you are
From one minute your inviting
Then the next your hateful
I guess we don't have to be friends, but do you really have to hate me so?

We believe in the same thing.
We have so much in common, you will see.
We don't want to admit it
Both of us are hard headed.

Even though you act so hateful
I love you in every way
Most of the days we meet, I feel like popping you on the head.
On other days, we finally meet on understanding.
To bad it's so very rare.
