Raquel Poem by Denis Martindale

Raquel

She was, to me, a shining light,
Deserving of her fame,
And as a star, when shining bright,
Men loved her form and frame.
Her beauty steadfast, spanning years,
A true celebrity,
Outshining those of short careers,
With fewer films to see.
What memories still come to mind,
A treasure chest, indeed,
A greater beauty hard to find,
So few have disagreed.
Her name, of course, is known full well,
Loved and remembered as Raquel.
