Random Stranger Poem by Rebecca Biggins

Random Stranger

I walk down the street,
Strangers pass me.
Someone approaches needing help,
I take them to a cafe and offer food,
They are super thin, not knowing me.
They ask who to send money to,
All I can say is don't pay me,
You have no debt to me,
But to all other random strangers.
Whe I, years later find myself in trouble,
I meet the random stranger I helped.
They say although i know you not,
You remind me of someone who helped me,
So I'll look after you 'till the trouble's passed.
