'Ramblings Of A Tattered Heart' Poem by Deafening Silence

'Ramblings Of A Tattered Heart'

Shadows falling,
The past's recalling,
I think I've lost my fear of falling

The smiles start fading,
And tears start raining.
Subsiding heartaches now returning.

But time will pass,
And hearts will mend.
Only nothing has no end.

Yes, love is patient
Yes, love is kind.
Love will make you lose your mind.

Love can be warm,
Love can be cold.
Love can break reality's hold.

Love will tell you that nothing else matters,
but love is life's most painful pattern.
