Rains! - Poem by Soumyendu Biswas

The rain..
Sheets of grey froth
battering the unholy
city,

Puddles,
roadside streams
Flashfloods bearing down
relentlessly
Tearing down
Shantytown..

Drenched,
shivering souls

And it pours
It pours even more,
without the slightest
pity

I love the illustrative -ness of this poem. Your sequence of thought is also intriguing and fascinating. I can actually feel the rainy season of some city.
