These Days Poem by Soumyendu Biswas

These Days

Rating: 5.0

These days
torrid, tumultuous, silent
days
Waiting in anticipation
Watching the leaf float gently
down, painlessly

I think you can put any interpretation you want on it. To me it suggests a world going about its sometimes frantic business, while nature does its own thing and is moved by nothing. Whatever your meaning, I like it.

I don't think I really grasp the true meaning of this poem, and thus I can't fairly judge it. I know I enjoyed it, I just really don't know what emotion was put behind it. There are so many different ways to interpret this. I think I have an idea, so I'll stick with it. Anyway,10/10 :)
