Raindrops Poem by Tan Pratonix

Raindrops

Rating: 5.0

Cool
soft
words drop
a pattern on paper,
pitter patter
plip
plop.
Like the rain
drops circles
in a pattern on water,
pitter patter
plip
plop.

Plip plop,
pitter patter,
plop plip
plop:

The rain stops.
But cool
soft
words drop
a pattern on paper,
plip
plop.

Nice rhythm strengthened by the repetitive onomatopoeia. Simple but very effective. Regards, Justine.

When opening a book, I often try not to focus on familiar words, but to imagine what a curious pattern (a picture, not a text) it would be for someone who can't read. And I'm fascinated, as a savage. You captured it so well. Julia
