Raindrops Poem by Tabraze Rasul

Raindrops

Our destinies fall like raindrops
Some crash in the froths of the gutters
Others embraced in rich ponds
Some find their way back to the ocean
Others are lost in puddles of mud
Some fall as part of the battle of a storm
Others partake in the nurture of life
Some are beckoned but never come
Some freeze in spiteful hating ice

No matter what our fate unveils
To the clouds we shall return
