Rainbows Poem by Roshnie Kewal

Rainbows

Rating: 5.0

Becoming as cold
As the depths of the abyss
Teetering on the edge
Of the precipice

Tempted by the whispers
Of the mist
Drawing me in
With broken promise

Standing at the precipice
Staring into the depths
Longing for premise
Yearning for the picturesque

Tempted by the mist
Plunging into the depths
Reverence of regrets
Delving deep into the abyss

Lost, lost into the depth
Darkness...

Thank you so much. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. This piece actually took me a few months to put together.

Piece of elegance with rendition of words to utmost justice. Beautiful poem nicely penned in good poetic diction with conviction. An insightful depiction of depression as loss of sunshine in a life at its deplorable low ebb. Thanks for sharing.
