Rainbow Poem by Sunil Sharma

Rainbow

Rating: 5.0

With a single sweep
A giant rainbow
Is created in an instant,
By an invisible hand across
The clear heavens dripping with
Rain-drops.
The multi-coloured huge band
Rising vertically and then dropping
Abruptly, still
Evokes awe in the blessed
Urban viewer passing by
The flooded fields and
A river swollen and angry,
The brilliant painting
Restoring the inner child.

Brilliant painting...restoring the inner child. A lovely end to a richly descriptive write.
