Rain Without Thunder Poem by Jayson C

Rain Without Thunder

Rating: 5.0

Here I sit and wonder
What would be best for us
Outside is a rain without thunder
As plain and as sad as us

We're breaking apart
Like the steep side of a mountain
We got two frozen hearts
So cold that it's not even pounding

We want to let go of each other
But I know that you still care
I know your heart is so gentle
To hurt you, I coudn't bear

We both wanna let go
We both wanna say no
Our love is not gonna grow
There's only sadness to bestow

So I guess we're stuck together,
Well until someone says 'bye'
Don't worry there's no forever
I know that you would soon try
