Oh rain why did you vanish away in mid chain?
Now its unbearable to bear the sultry humid pain,
Sweat n heat drains my energy from body's extra weight gain,
Electric bill rises up to put strain,
Hunting mission starts for cool breeze in plain,
Anxious farmers looking towards the emerging dark clouds with pile of hopes in vain,
Government official engaged on talks for tackling drought situation for food grain,
Water scarcity still persists as claimed,
Autumn is in our doorsteps but heat maintains its presence,
Oh rain! when will you come back to erase our complain?
