This is the day I wait year long,
celebration of love and brotherhood with hay and fun
sisters tie the band of love as a token,
demand their presence in every forefront,
Mom says this is the relation to nurture life long.
Here the emotion and affection in it dwindles to make it more strong.
The silken chord is the emblem of pure and sweet bond...


Sisters and brothers fight and play,
still they wait eagerly for this day.
My brother teases - 'gifts are sister's major concern',
Yes! I agree! In it lies my faith that matters forlorn.
Brothers may be elder or young,
they are the best friends with whom sister rely on.
Timely advise and help they depend on,
though we are far from sight,
still we find time to fight,
others intervene to solve the matter right,
but we solve it together with a deep tight...
Love and friendship is the message of the day,
