Rain Poem by Plabita Bhaskar

Rain

Rating: 5.0

Get drenched, fall free
Nimbus dear...
Cleanse the dreary soul
The wind sings tales of agony
Take a fancy stroll.

Fill your misty redolence,
Jingle the crystalline beads,
Pick your groovy love crayons,
Brush your rainbow shades upon.

The frolic puddle to hop around
Paper boats to sail,
Relive mirthful childhood days,
Breakfree, drench my skin.

'Relive mirthful childhood days'. The poem brings alive not only our childhood days but other memories relating to rainy days decades ago when there was heavy downpour for days together. Nothing of the sort happens now. Thanks for sharing the poem.
