Rain Poem by Evangeline Novio

Rain

Rating: 5.0

Rain
Falling
Ceaselessly
Atop my roof
Dislodged the dormant residual debris
Like a promise made to be forgotten.
A mockingly
Discordant
Hollowed
Tune;
Lost
Fragments
Of a vow
Unrequited
Relived the misery long kept at bay.
