Rain Poem by Sushmita Sushmita

Rain

When the first drop of rain falls on the thirsty ground,
The earth bubbles up with life,
Wind whistling through the leaves,
Rain drops falling on the flower petals,
Making them look all fresh, as if waking up on a new day.

A person when sights the first few drops of rain,
He dumps all his worries and goes out to heal his restless heart.
